DJ Cracker Jacks - Gag me with a spoon! (Full Album) DJ Cracker Jacks is a Heavy Remix / Boombap darkweb band. DJ Cracker Jacks's eighty second album is much more retro than previous records. "Gag me with a spoon!" explores the territory of nostalgia: from daydreams to earworms. And this record does it with the neurosurgeon's precision. The opening "Obsession" immediately sets the tone of the entire album. This canvas is woven from synth riffs, viscous, like quicksand. And they are ready to devour you. Another part of this music potion is fast rhythms pumping back and forth like a thoroughbred at the Kentucky derby with an irregular heartbeat.

A short respite in "Careless Whispers" makes you feel there is definitely someone else in the room and he is watching you. And then the siren call of "Destination Unknown" with severe inevitability returns to disturbing reality. This 3 minute epic track is a central thing on the album and the most complex of Rily N'So's beats. Those who dare to walk this way till the end must be prepared for the fact that they will have to look into the most retro and nostalgic corners of their own consciousness. These tracks push the listener to a dialogue with themselves. And the dialogue might be not a pleasant conversation.
